- Donor’s Choose. This organization allows users to directly fund a variety of mostly small projects set up by teachers to support learning in their classrooms (like purchasing a guinea pig (!), or art supplies, or science equipment.)
- Community Organizing and Family Issues is a Chicago non-profit dedicated to social and structural change, with a focus empowering low income and working families.
- The Animal Welfare League of Chicago is the place in Hyde Park where Annie brought this injured baby squirrel last year. They get about one hundred and eighty injured baby squirrels a year from tenderhearted ladies like Annie, so they can use all the help they can get.
